Fr. Robert Spitzer

Robert Spitzer, S. J., Ph.D., is the former president of Gonzaga university, author, and seasoned leader. Derived from extensive research, his work on the principles of successful leadership forms the basis of his book “The Spirit of Leadership: Optimizing Creativity and Change in Organizations” (New York: Financial Times/Prentice Hall). A much sought-after speaker, he has worked with leaders such as Jim Sinegal at Costco, and Alan Mulally at Ford Motor Company. He has also addressed senior leaders at the Pentagon, and Tony Blair’s Cabinet.
